a team of young people learning what it means to have gifts from God to use for His glory…and how powerful they are when we step back and let Him use them…

Awake and Alive

Awake and Alive.
I heard this song on repeat on Thursday, Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday again…
And yep – tonight too! yay.
Haha
I’m not ready to delete it from my itunes library yet…I’ve gotten close. but not yet.
And I think it’ll survive.
;)
Last night we gathered up the dancers at 6(ish) ;)
And worked with them…perfecting the dance, figuring out the emotions and exactly what is happening where, etc.
And then at around 7, we worked with everyone else, all together.

And I will give props to this group – that normally we can keep fully on task for about 15 min – but last night we put in a solid 2 and a half hours of PRODUCTIVITY. Even when we asked 3 of the dancers to change a little part of their choreography…at about 815. :/
(when we say this team is flexible and committed…we can say that with confidence because we have pushed them to their limits in this way a few times…haha)
Endless progress. ;) Not even exaggerating.
So thank you to the team :)
God will use it and you for His glory!

But we spent most of the night in the studio practicing and then ventured upstairs where the great sound and light people let us practice on the stage!
And the first two rows of chairs were taken out…for moshing obviously, it was dark in the worship center, stage all lit up in different colors, the team all up there – rocking their dances…
God is good friends. :)
So cool to see ALL the hard work that’s gone into all this for HIS kingdom’s work.
SO many gifts at work – all working together…and its awesome.

So good night with a great group…
Love it.
And tonight’s the big night! so fun!
Look for pictures and (hopefully) video soon!

And please keep this all in your prayers!!!!!!! Lots of people will be coming tonight and this is an AMAZING opportunity to share the love and freedom and exhileration of following Jesus!!!
